Mortgage Checking Account Can My Mortgage Lender Take Away Funds From My Checking Account Without My Permission?

Can my mortgage lender take away funds from my checking account without my permission? - mortgage checking account

I am almost three months too late with my mortgage payments. I bank with Bank of America, which happens also the parent company of the lender (LaSalle Bank). You have the right to take my money? Do you think that my lender is aware that he has an account with them?

Check your contract of mortgage and current account. Would agree if it was signed. If you end your mortgage, then I can take money from your checking account to pay the mortgage.

If you are in arrears with their taxes and insurance, they have this right. It's called the law of compensation.
